Vincent’s key research interest lies within innovation and the evolution of technologies, business models and institutions. He analyses the conditions of change of the dynamics of innovation in different industries: nanotechnology, biotechnology, cultural industry and business education.
His main research areas are:
- Strategic management of innovation, business model evolution
- Role of clusters, geographic agglomeration and networks of firm growth
- Institutionalization processes in emerging and changing environments
- Globalization of business education, the future of business schools and scientific production in management.
Vincent is highly involvement in the scientific community, sitting at the editorial board of Organization Studies and Long Range Planning. He is also guest editor for the International Journal of Technology Management and Research Policy, Technovation, Journal of Technology Transfer, Technology Forecasting and Social Change.
